We bought these bathing boys at Les Drapeaux de France in Paris. They are thumbnail-sized in real life (to give you an idea of scale, the red background in the pictures is actually a smooth silk sofa cushion), and we were given a substantial discount because we'd bought the rather expensive Christmas tree.

Months later, this is how I decided to display the bathers. The sand was collected from the French Atlantic coast on our vacation in 2005.
