Every year in October, I make the Christmas cake from Delia Smith's rich fruitcake recipe. Then, every two weeks until Christmas, we "feed" the cake with two teaspoons of brandy each. When it's time to eat the cake, it is deliciously moist and boozy. Of course, no cake would be complete without some saucy icing decorations. Here are photos of my Cakes from Christmas Past.
